Through our initiatives and our motto, we wish to let the elders know that there is always someone who cares for them. As Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “The best tunes are often played on the oldest fiddles”.
Here is a glance at all the work that we currently undertake.
From distributing rations to toiletries to medical aid, this is essentially an Akshaya Patra for the elderly. So far, we have impacted over 165 elders through this initiative.
Happy Meals on Wheels is a one-of-a-kind catering service that utilizes leftover food from schools and delivers it to slum areas, where people in need can make the most use of it.
A series of unique cognitive, therapeutic, and creative activities to bridge the intergenerational gap and promote understanding between generations.
In an effort to give the elder buddies a sense of purpose and identity, this is an initiative through which the elder buddies learn a new skill and produce creative works, from diyas to rangolis to envelopes. Later, in an annual exhibition, these products are displayed, and the talents of the elder buddies are on display for everyone to see.
a community movement, in this initiative, people from all avenues of life come together to enrich and support the lives of the elderly by pledging nothing but their time and expertise.
